Roaster's tasting notes

The verdict

Excellent and very balanced. Honey processing gives a fuller, syrupy body than the Alo; tangerine-led acidity is bright but rounder. Sweet aroma (brown sugar, stone fruit), pomegranate mid-palate, lingering sticky-sweet finish. Approx 3.5/5.

What the roaster says

A honey-processed Gesha from Carlos Cadena, a third-generation Mexican producer working across his family’s farms, Finca Pocitos and Finca Huehuetepan. Gently fermented (36-hour dry tank) and slow-dried on raised African beds for a sweet, expressive cup. Carlos took first and second place at Mexico’s 2024 Cup of Excellence with his natural Gesha.
