Clean and crisp. Light but nice acidity. Not too much bitterness.

What the roaster says

Those familiar with our offerings will undoubtedly recognize El Cuarenteno, as we have sourced from this community of coffee producers for several years now. We are excited to have the opportunity to explore this coffee in its peaberry form.

As we have iterated roast profiles, El Cuarenteno PB’s nuanced aromatics became a stand out feature. In the cup you will find a melding of earthy fig, toffee, and delicate tangerine.

We have been enjoying this origin when brewed as a chemex pour over and as immersion brews with high dilution. Those who enjoy playing with extractions and brew variables will find this to be a rewarding coffee indeed.
